Ambassador Greiçevci presented his credentials to HM Queen Elizabeth IILondon, 30 May 2013 The Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the UK, HE Lirim Greiçevci, presented his letters of credence today to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
At the audience with the Queen, which took place during a state ceremony at Buckingham Palace, Ambassador Greiçevci conveyed cordial greetings from the President of the Republic of Kosovo to Her Majesty and the people of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. He emphasised the excellent relations between Kosovo and the United Kingdom, and expressed his deepest gratitude for the support that the United Kingdom has given to the freedom, independence and consolidation of the state of Kosovo.
Ambassador Greiçevci also expressed his commitment to furthering the relations between the two countries, in many areas of communication and mutual cooperation on economic, cultural and educational activities.
After the ceremony at Buckingham Palace, at the vin dhonneur hosted by the Embassy of Kosovo, which was attended by many ambassadors and diplomatic representatives in London, the representative of the Royal Protocol congratulated Ambassador Greiçevci on his noble duty of representing Kosovo to the United Kingdom. As it is customary, Ambassador Greiçevci proposed a toast to the health of Her Majesty the Queen.
